4 in 1 Portable Electric Vegetable Cutter Set

My expectations were LOW. VERY LOW. But I have a low-end Cuisinart that I've developed such a strong resentment against that I sometimes just open the cabinet to give it the evil eye. So, when I took this out of the box, I was somewhat surprised at the quality of the bowl and the blade/spindle. The bowl is thin stainless steel but well-constructed. The spindle/blade assembly seems MUCH more sturdy than the crappy plastic pindle and separate blade assembly on the Cuisinart. I pressed forward with my hummus...and, lo and behold, this thing worked! And worked WELL. Shockingly well. Smooth, creamy, delicious homemade hummus. And, the cherry on the cake? CLEANING IS SO EASY. There are no stupid tabs or nubs or divots or whatever other insane design elements (I'm looking at you, Cuisinart) that would make it impossible to get all the food out and easily clean it. LOVE. That being said, the motor sounds a little dinky, which is fine, since it does the job, but I do not expect this to last forever...we'll see. And lastly, one must hold the button down - there is no "on and walk away" action. They suggest running it for no more than 1-minute increments to keep the motor cool. Overall, I'm pleased.

WOW! This is a fantastic product and bargain! It chops all kinds of foods quickly and well. Its much better than my old one which was a brand name product. This chopper is well designed and functions flawlessly. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!!!
